This statement is provided in keeping with the California Online Privacy Protection Act of 2003. Individual pages or forms may include additional privacy notices.

1. Information We Collect

  • Non-personally identifiable information. Like most websites, we may collect IP address, browser type, and general usage data through cookies. This information is anonymous and is not linked to your identity. Most cookies are removed when you close your browser, and you may disable cookies in your browser settings.
  • Personally identifiable information. We collect information you voluntarily provide through our forms — such as your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address — when you request information, submit an application, or make a payment.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To process applications and communicate with you about admissions and your enrollment.
  • To respond to inquiries and provide the services you request.
  • To maintain and improve our website and its functionality.
  • Only authorized University staff have access to personal information. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

  • We use trusted service providers to operate the University, including our student information system (Populi) and our payment processor (Stripe). These providers handle data under their own terms, and we share only the information necessary to provide the services you request.

4. Cookies & Your Privacy Choices

  • Our website uses cookies to operate the site, remember your preferences, and generate anonymous statistics. Cookies fall into four categories: Strictly Necessary (required for the site to function and always active), Functional (enhanced features such as embedded videos), Analytics & Performance (aggregate usage statistics), and Advertising (cross-context behavioral advertising).
  • California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information. You may exercise this right at any time using the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the footer of every page or the button below. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out request. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
  • Your cookie preferences are saved on this browser for 12 months, after which you will be asked again. You may change them at any time. You can also disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function properly.

5. Children’s Privacy

  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent.

6. Data Security

  • We limit access to personal information to authorized staff and use reasonable safeguards to protect it. However, no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted over the internet.

7. Links to Other Websites

  • Our website may link to sites outside the livingwater.education domain. Those sites are not governed by this policy, and we encourage you to review their individual privacy practices.
